Michael Fox

Michael Fox

Michael Fox is a member of Weenusk First Nation. He worked with 82 First Nation communities at Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund in Treaty 9, Treaty 3, and 1850 Treaty as a Partnership Development Advisor assisting in business startups, resource development, and project financing. Michael sits on the board of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada as well as the Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business. To add to his professional experience at an Aboriginal Financial Institution, he also sits on the board for the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund (100M/yr) which supports economic development across northern Ontario. His previous consulting firm, Fox High Impact Consulting now merged into ICE, which worked in Manitoba, Quebec, and Ontario regions on project agreements, engagement strategies, and business development as well as strategic planning, facilitation, and policy development. Michael has been active as a First Nation Project Advisor in the Ring of Fire when it was first discovered in 2007.
